Frequently Asked Questions.

Answers to the questions we hear most often from experts, institutions and traders exploring Elite Trading Experts for the first time.

Certification

Who can apply for certification?
Any professional whose work educates, informs, influences or supports traders and investors — traders, analysts, portfolio managers, educators, authors, researchers, media professionals or executives across the financial industry. See Is Elite Trading Experts Right for You?
How long does the evaluation take?
Timelines vary by Certification Circle and the completeness of the application, but every candidate follows the same documented process. Details are available on the Certification Process page.
What are the Certification Circles?
Five forms of recognition — Circle I Accredited, Circle II Certified, Circle III Professional, Circle IV Elite and Circle V Legacy — reflecting different stages of professional experience, expertise and contribution. They are not a simple ranking. See Certification Circles.
Can I select the Certification Circle I want?
No. Applicants provide a complete professional profile and supporting evidence. The appropriate Circle results from calibrated professional judgement under the published Evaluation Framework; it is neither self-selected nor determined by a single score.
Can recognition be purchased?
No. Recognition cannot be purchased, sponsored or influenced by commercial relationships. It must be earned. Fees may support the administration of an application or membership, but never determine its outcome.
Can certification be revoked?
Yes. Certification reflects an ongoing standard of professional conduct, not a one-time achievement, and is governed by our Code of Ethics.

Membership & Community

What do I get as a certified member?
A verified Expert Profile, your official Certification Circle badge, and access to an international network of recognised professionals. See Membership Benefits.
Is Elite Trading Experts a recruitment agency or speaker bureau?
No. We create an environment where professional opportunities can develop naturally through expertise, trust and relationships — we do not place candidates or broker bookings.
Does certification guarantee investment performance?
No. Elite Trading Experts evaluates professional expertise, evidence, conduct and contribution. Certification is not an endorsement of a particular strategy, product or future financial result, and it does not replace independent investment judgement.

Institutions

How does an institution start a partnership?
Through the Partnership Programme, which begins with a conversation about your objectives and matches them to relevant experts within the network.
Can institutions sponsor or influence certification decisions?
No. Certification decisions are made independently by the Certification Committee, separate from any commercial or partnership relationship. See Standards & Transparency.

Governance

Who oversees certification decisions?
The Certification Committee, an independent body responsible for reviewing candidates against the published Evaluation Framework.
Where can I find the governance documents?
The full framework is published on our Governance and Standards & Transparency pages.
How are conflicts of interest handled?
Evaluation is separated from commercial relationships. Relevant conflicts must be declared, reviewers can recuse themselves and certification decisions are documented to support fairness, consistency and accountability.
